This Week in WPW: Dansby Still Gaming A2K, the Soldier 10 is Everywhere, Swag, Etc.

Solarte Soldiers 2

With a couple of weeks in the books, lets take a look at what we’ve seen around the league so far.

The LeBron Soldier 10 is still popping up all over the league with Custom Cleats conversions.

Along with Yangervis Solarte, Rougned Odor, Josh Donaldson, Nelson Cruz and many other pros wearing them as cleats, Trevor Story has been wearing them pre-game.

With this many guys wearing the Soldier 10, it can’t be totally superficial.  They’re probably great cleats.  Get the Soldier 10 and convert it on CustomCleats.com.

Denard Span Stance Socks 2

We’ve mentioned it on IG a few times already… Stance is in its first year as Official Sock of the MLB, and they’re making their presents known throughout the league.  We saw Denard Span wearing them well for the Giants (above).

Giancarlo Stanton Stance Socks

Giancarlo, too.  The pants up look is a classically good look, and these socks add a 21st century edge to it.  Shop Stance’s plethora of MLB options here.

Dansby Swanson Wilson Glove 2017

Dansby Swanson is still gaming his A2K from last year that everybody loved so much.  From what he told us in Florida, it sounded like he may go for the A2000 instead, but he’s clearly gotten comfortable with the A2K.

I tend to think it only looks better with age.  Get Dansby’s A2K 1786 in his exact specs here.

David Wright Glove 2017

Speaking of Wilson, David Wright’s got a new piece, complete with a branded “Jumpman” style logo of Wright himself.  You can actually get what we’d consider a better looking DW5 on Wilson’s website, in grey/blue/black/orange, and it even has the D. Wright logo on it.

Jabari Blash Wilson Superskin Glove

Jabari Blash added some colored Superskin to his Wilson KP92, and it came out great.  You can now add colored Superskin thanks to a new feature on the Wilson custom builder.  Build yours here.

Justin Bour 44pro Glove

Justin Bour is the first position player we’ve seen wear a 44 Pro glove in a Big League game.  He hasn’t gamed this one just yet (he wears a less showy 44), but we hope it makes the cut soon.  Its pretty sexy.  Check out 44 Pro here.

Matt Harvey Rawlings Shagger

Matt Harvey switched to Rawlings this off-season, leaving Nike behind entirely.  Rawlings hooked him up with a camo mesh shagger, which we think is somewhere in the above photo.

Christian Yelich Training Glove

Christian Yelich’s training glove is probably a hold-over from the WBC (USA-USA-USA).  He added an H-Web to match his Gold Glove winning Rawlings PRO303.

Brandon Crawford Warstic

We noticed Brandon Crawford swinging his own model of Warstic, a company who has been very selective on the players they’ve supplied.

We have only seen Crawford’s mainstay, the Max Bat B21 in games to this point.  Shop Warstic bats here.  The Max Bat B21 is available here.

Nolan Arenado Nike Cleats 2017

Last but not least, we wanted to throw out a vote: Who’s wearing the “Mint/Tiffany Blue” better, Nolan Arenado or Brandon Phillips?

Brandon Phillips Batting Gloves 2017

We spoke to both guys about this exact topic on our Youtube channel.  More videos yet to be added this year, including Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Carlos Correa, and others.  Its worth subscribing if you’re into that sort of thing..

So, Arenado or Phillips?
