One of Trae Young’s wildest clutch moments occurred in 2019 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The overtime game saw the Bucks up 135-134 with just 1.1 seconds remaining. Hawks big Kevin Huerter inbounded and forced a lob to John Collins. Opposing big man Brook Lopez played the pass perfectly and swatted the ball towards the free throw line. Young happened to race towards the hoop and was near the carom. In one motion, Trae caught the ball with his left hand, then gathered and shot with his right as the buzzer sounded. The rock trickled on the back rim a few bounces before softly dropping through the net. The State Farm Arena erupted at the 136-125 win, as Trae calmly slapped his chest.
The sneakers Trae slipped on was the adidas N3XT L3V3L. This features a laceless, compression Primeknit upper that was comfortable straight out of the box. Lightstrike foam is used in the midsole for lightweight comfort on the court and off.
Young rocked a Shock Red and Scarlet Yellow version of this sneaker, which can be found HERE.
