Trae Young had defenders looking foolish with deceptive handles in this game against the Detroit Pistons.
Young initiated the offense quickly on this play, darting past a screen on a drive. Bruce Brown tried keeping up and tailed Ice Trae. Young then faked a behind-the-back pass, then went between his own legs on the dribble. This fake caused Brown to look backwards at the three-point line, as he spun around 360 degrees. The move also froze the switching Blake Griffin long enough for Trae to bounce a dime pass to Dewayne Dedmon for the dunk.
The sneakers Trae slipped on was the adidas N3XT L3V3L. This features a laceless, compression Primeknit upper that was comfortable straight out of the box. Lightstrike foam is used in the midsole for lightweight comfort on the court and off.
Young rocked a Shock Red and Scarlet Yellow version of this sneaker, which can be found HERE.
