Michael Kopech’s Rawlings Pro Preferred PRO200-9KP Glove
Michael Kopech’s glove calls attention to breast cancer awareness, a cause that hits home for him, having lost his grandmother to breast cancer. Kopech put the glove pictured up for auction, while he and his girlfriend offered matching donations. All in, the Kopech initiative raised over $17,000 for the cause. Piggybacking on that effort, the White Sox blog SoxOn35th.com has raised nearly $15,000 themselves. All because of a glove!
The model is a Rawlings Pro Preferred PRO200-9KP, and the nearly identical glove is available at the link. Unfortunately the Rawlings custom builder doesn’t offer the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon just yet.
