For week 8, Chase Claypool pulled out these insane Jordan 5 cleats with a zerba print upper. Claypool and the Jordan design team went crazy on these and are definitely attention grabbers.
They really pushed the NFL’s limits by adding the red and blue lining on these cleats. Normally, I’d expect Claypool to be fined for wearing colors that aren’t his team colors but, red and blue are technically in the Steelers logo. The small little stars in the logo allow Claypool to wear these colors. I’m very curious to see if Claypool continues to push boundaries and maybe wear some all red or all blue cleats in the future. It’d be fun to see how the NFL would deal with that.
Unfortunately, for 2021, Jordan Brand Football did not release a cleat. So, you guys won’t be able to get your hands on any 5’s but you can maybe snag last years Jordan 10s for here for $125 or on Ebay.
