Christian McCaffrey
Christian McCaffrey is the definition of a 3-down back. The young man drafted out of
Stanford by the Panthers at 8th overall is one of the elite running backs in the game right now. In 2019 McCaffrey became the third member of the “1,000-1,000 Club,” tearing up the NFL for 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving. McCaffrey is a threat to score on any play, from any part of the field. Defensive gameplans are centered around stopping this one man, but they rarely do. “CMC” will likely go down as one of the best “all-down” backs of our generation.
For his gear, Christian McCaffrey has been a Nike guy since his days at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Then, at Stanford he continued to rep the swoosh. Finally, CMC signed with Nike even before he was drafted by the Panthers 8th overall in the 2017 draft. He’s been very consistent with his cleats and gloves so far in his career. For example, he’s still wearing the Nike Vapor Jet 4.0s he wore his rookie year in 2017. Even though he’s not always wearing the newest model, CMC definitely has some unique swag on gameday.
