Adrian Beltre made baseball fun to watch. A WPW legend for his player exclusive Nike cleats, batting gloves and Rawlings platinum labels, Beltre seemed to enjoy every minute on a ballfield. Very few swings are more satisfying to watch than a drop-to-a-knee Beltre bomb. With 477 to his name, Beltre ended his career third all-time for HRs as a third baseman, sandwiched between Hall of Famers Mike Schmidt, Eddie Mathews, and Chipper Jones.
Even opponents couldn’t help but laugh with him.
Baseball will miss Adrian Beltre.
