Hunter Pence

Hunter Pence is unorthodox to say the least. His jerky style of play is something that would never be taught but is something he has found success with. When you get results like Pence, most people ignore the unusual way he goes about things. With two World Series rings and a handful of All Star game, it is safe to say that this former second round pick has lived up to expectations.

Pence’s swag is as quirky as his style of play. At the plate, Pence pairs his unique stance with a MaxBat HP9 maple bat and one Franklin CFX Pro batting glove on his bottom hand. Pence has also been known to choke up quite a bit and trusts LizardSkin to give him the grip he needs. Pence began his career with Mizuno cleats but has since transitioned to Nike. Hunter Pence’s glove is tried-and-true to say the least. When he is in the field, he uses a Rawlings PRO301-6KB which is a 12.75″ H-web pattern. His look would not be complete without the socks. Pence wears Stance socks and has them pulled up as far as anyone we have ever seen-just above his knee. While nothing Hunter Pence does is traditional, he has found a winning formula.
