Prince Fielder was a sweet-swinging lefty first baseman. The second generation Big Leaguer sadly had his career cut short due to neck injuries but he still amassed some eye-popping accolades. The six-time All Star also won two Home Run Derby crowns and three Silver Sluggers. Prince and his dad, Cecil Fielder, are the only father-son due to each hit 50 homers in a season. While his career was shortened, Prince still put up 319 career home runs and 1,028 RBIs in his 11 year career.
Prince Fielder had an iconic personality but his gear was never as flashy. He was undoubtedly known for his bat and he did his damage with a Marucci AB29, Marucci PF84, or a Tucci Lumber TL-271 maple bat. Nike MVP Elite Pro batting gloves and a LizardSkin bat wrap complete the look. Fielder’s glove was simple-a black and tan Rawlings Heart of the Hide PROFM20XLKB first base mitt. Prince Fielder’s cleats were much more unique. Fielder got the custom Nike treatment on his eye-catching Air Max MVP Elite 3/4 spikes.
