For the first game of the 2021 season, DK Metcalf wore the Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 cleats. DK has been signed with Under Armour since he entered the league in 2019 so it’s strange to see him repping the swoosh. He did wear the Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 during his time in college at Ole Miss.

In case you didn’t know, Under Armour ended their on-field licensing agreement with the NFL in the 2020 off-season. UA is still making football equipment for their athletes but it has to remain unbranded on the field. It’s to my knowledge that DK is still signed with UA so it’s weird he’d wear a competitors cleat, especially with the logo exposed.

The Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 is one of the best cleats ever produced by Nike. It’s comfortable, has incredible traction and the carbon fiber in the traction plate “springs” you into each step.

It can be tough to get these cleats since they are a past model but there are some on stockx.com and eBay. You can get the new Nike Vapors at Dick’s.
