With the Titans, Julio Jones has been wearing Pro Gear shoulder pads. He used to wear the Riddell CPK shoulder pads but made the switch to Pro Gear. Another thing to note is that Julio wears the “split” backplate. Basically the backplate is cut in half which helps with mobility.
These pads are low-profile and allow lots of range of motion to the wearer. Being one of the best jump ball catchers, these pads are perfect for Julio Jones.
