Jose Abreu

Jose Abreu is a Cuban-born, power-hitting first baseman. In 2013, Abreu defected from Cuba and signed a deal with the White Sox. He turned that contract into an AL Rookie of the Year award in 2014, All Star games, and Silver Slugger awards. The big man even hit for the cycle in 2017.

Abreu has some understated swag on the diamond. At the dish, Abreu swings a Victus JA44, a Marucci AP5P, or a Marucci JA79 maple bat paired with a LizardSkin bat grip. His batting gloves of choice have been either Mizuno Global Elites or Franklin CFX Pro batting gloves. Jose Abreu’s glove is a beauty in a classic color combo. He has used both a Wilson A2000 and a Rawlings Heart of the Hide-both with a clean black and camel look. All this goes with his New Balance 3000v3 spikes.
