Jose Bautista

Jose Bautista was an elite right-handed power hitter in his prime. Leading the MLB in home runs, earning Hank Aaron awards, and pulling in Silver Slugger awards led to his six All Star game selections. Bautista is probably best know for for his bat flip in 2015. During game 5 of the 2015 ALDS, Bautista hit a 3-run bomb to give the Jays a lead. The bat flip that followed may well be one of the most iconic images in Toronto sports history.

Bautista had some swag to go with his crazy pop at the plate. As a partner with Marucci, Bautista got some special gear. At the plate, Bautista created his own model, the Marucci JB19 maple bat, that he paired with Marucci Elite batting gloves and a Marucci elbow guard. In the field, his Marucci partnership continued to show. He wore a 12.75″ Marucci modified trap glove in a flashy blue and white color combo. New Balance also treated Bautista well. Jose Bautista’s cleats were some of the cleanest in the game. He had his own logo created and added to his custom red, white, and blue New Balance 4040v2 spikes.
