Aaron Rodger’s is an old-school guy. He wears the Schutt Air XP Q11 helmet which combines the classic Air XP shell with the most up to date padding. The Schutt Air XP Q11 usually comes with the HSS (Helmet Stabilization System) but A-Rod has the equipment staff remove it to complete his old-school look. The HSS is designed to give you a locked-in fit and reduce the probability of your helmet sliding off. The Schutt Air XP Q11 that Rodgers wears is a pro exclusive but extremely similar to the Schutt Air XP Q10, available to everyone. The Schutt Air XP Q10 is both protective and lightweight – scoring a 5/5 on the Virginia Tech Helmet Rating scale and weighing only 4.1 pounds.
Rodgers used to wear the Schutt Air XP Pro but that helmet was banned from the NFL due to safety concerns. He was forced to make the switch in 2019 and chose the Schutt Air XP Q11.
You can get yourself a Schutt Air XP Q10 for $450 from SchuttSports.com.
