During training camp, while briefly testing the Riddell Speedflex, Cooper Kupp wore a totally custom facemask. This facemask was specifically built for Kupp and has never been seen before. Vision appears to be the main reason why Kupp sticks with the Schutt F7 and the Rams’ EQ staff tried to replicate the same vision for the Speedflex with this facemask. This custom mask is very open and much closer to Kupp’s face. Kupp must’ve not liked how it felt because he quickly switched back to his usual Schutt F7 and his regular facemask.
