For week 1, Kyler Murray wore a pair of Nike Vapor Edge 360 Elites inspired by the Airmax 95. The cleats are designed to mimic the iconic Airmax and share some of the same details. The cleat has the wavy lines, the lace loops and the word “Vapor” in the oval on the tongue (instead of the word “Airmax”). Kyler’s pair also pays homage to the great Bruce Lee, on both insoles. These are such an awesome pair of cleats and we hope to see him bring them out more often.
The Nike Vapor Edge 360 Elite debuted in 2019 and is the most premium cleat Nike offers. The upper is built from Nike’s strong, but light, flyknit. Instead of traditional laces, these cleats have a pull-tab to tighten them up which keeps them secure all game. These also feature Nike’s new “edge” traction plate. This plate is a 2-piece construction with sharp studs placed on the edges of the foot to allow guys like K1 to change direction quickly and efficiently.
