For the 2022 season, Russell Wilson has switched into the Vicis Zero2 helmet. He previously wore the Vicis Zero1 and actually invested in the company back in 2017.
The Vicis 02 came out earlier this year (2021) and slowly more and more players have been making the switch. The Vicis Zero2, is now the highest graded helmet of all time on the Virginia Tech Helmet safety rating scale. Not only is it safer, it’s lighter than the Zero1, weighing in at 4.3 pounds. This helmet is the absolute latest innovation in the helmet world and I think we’re going to see a lot more players wear it in the future.
