Since TJ Watt’s first season in the NFL, he’s been wearing Nike Superbad gloves – most recently the Superbad 5.0. He wears them in unbranded (because of his deal with Reebok), black and white colorways. They also have the Steelers logo on the palm.
The Nike Superbad 5.0 released in 2019 and is Nike’s padded receiver glove. This glove has both padding on the back of hand and a sticky, “magnigrip” palm. The SB5 is perfect for an edge rusher like TJ because it protects his hands when battling in the trenches, but gives him the grip to catch the football.
