Ian Kinsler
Ian Kinsler is a true 5-tool player. Kinsler bounced around in college. Starting his career at Central Arizona College, he transferred to Arizona State for his sophomore year. After not getting as much playing time as he was promised, he transferred again to the University of Missouri before being drafted for the third time in his career-this time in the 17th round. Kinsler received a $30,000 signing bonus and is now considered one of the best 17th round picks of all time. Kinsler is an All Star, a Gold Glover, and a two-time member of the 30-30 club. He has a World Series ring and a World Baseball Classic gold medal. Kinsler has exceeded all expectations as a 17th round pick.
On top of stellar play, Kinsler has some stellar gear. Kinsler is head to toe Nike. He has worn multiple cleats in his career including the Nike Alpha Huarache Elite Low and the Nike Air MVP 2 models. These cleats have always been married to a clean and unique custom colorway. At the plate, Kinsler again reps Nike. He uses Nike Huarache Elite or Nike Diamond Elite II batting gloves. Kinsler is one of the biggest advocates for Warstic bats and uses a WSIK58 maple bat. Not only can this Gold Glover pick it, he looks good doing it. Ian Kinsler’s gloves have been some of the prettiest in the MLB. He uses a Nike SHA DO Elite J in an 11.25″ pattern with a unique diamond-style web. Kinsler has combined a stunning glove with even better color combos over the years.
