Joey Bosa is one of the most intimidating edge defenders in the game. Bosa was selected 3rd overall by the Chargers in the 2016 NFL draft and has been one of the league’s best ever since. As a rookie in 2016, Bosa played only 12 games, finished off the season with 10.5 sacks and 17 TFLs, and earned defensive rookie of the year honors. Since then, Bosa has been selected to 3 Pro Bowls and has become the cornerstone of a young, talented defense in Los Angeles. As of right now, he has 51 career sacks in 6 years and looks to keep adding to that total.
When Bosa first entered the league, he was an Adidas athlete. In 2018, we saw a shift and Bosa began to wear Nike gloves along with Jordan cleats. It’s unclear if Bosa is signed with Nike or if he’s a “brand free agent” who just likes to wear their gear. For gameday, Bosa is extremely consistent, wearing white, leather palmed Nike Vapor Jet 6.0s and white and black Jordan 1 cleats. Very simple – just the essentials for the young pass rusher.
