Johnny Cueto
Johnny Cueto is a veteran right-hander out of the Dominican Republic. Leading the NL in strikeouts in 2015, Cueto has amassed over 1500 K’s in his career to go along with a sub-3.5 ERA. Cueto was a Royal for only one season but helped them bring the 2015 World Series championship to Kansas City. Despite battling injury, Cueto is a two-time All Star with one of the most iconic wind-ups in baseball.
Cueto has some clean gear when he takes the mound. Cueto is a Nike man. He has worn the Nike Air Huarache Pro and the Nike Air Clipper 2017 spikes paired with Stance socks in his career. Johnny Cueto’s glove is more unique. He is one of the few who still use Nike leather. In his career, Cueto has used both a Nike Diamond Elite Pro II and a Nike SHA DO Elite J two piece.
