Evan Longoria

Evan Longoria is a veteran third basemen who can pick it. Longo went to Rio Hondo Community College before getting a scholarship offer to play at Long Beach State University. Despite being a shortstop his whole life, Long Beach State already had and established shortstop (a guy you might have heard of named Troy Tulowitzki) so Longo moved to third. Longoria became the third overall pick in 2006. Since then, he has earned Gold Gloves, Silver Sluggers, and All Star appearances. Evan Longoria’s glove and bat have been consistent over the years and have always earned him a spot in the line up.

Longo has been very consistent with his gear. Longoria has used different models but has worn New Balance spikes for his whole career. At the plate, Longoria swings a Louisville Slugger I13 ash bat paired with Franklin CFX Pro batting gloves and a ProHitter hitting aid. At the hot corner, Longo has stuck with the same glove his whole career. Wilson created Evan Longoria’s glove to his specs. Longo has used the Wilson A2000 EL3 in a few color combos over the years. Longo’s gear can be shopped below.
