Kyle Schwarber is a catcher-turned-outfielder with some serious pop. Schwarber’s sweet lefty stroke has earned him a spot in the starting line up. Tape measure bombs are commonplace with Schwarber in the box. His young career has had ups and downs. A torn ACL to a World Series ring encompassed Schwarber’s 2016 season. As he hones his approach at the plate, he is only becoming more and more dangerous for the guy on the mound.
Nike treats Schwarber well. Kyle Schwarber’s cleats are a variety of custom Nike spikes in unique patterns. He has worn Nike Lunar Vapor Pro, Vapor Ultrafly and Alpha Huarache Elite spikes. Schwaber carries on the Nike partnership at the plate, pairing his Nike batting gloves with a Dinger KS-10 maple bat and Evoshield elbow and leg guards. Defensively, Schwarber began with Mizuno leather but has since transitioned into a Wilson A2000 when he mans left.
