Byron Buxton’s 2021 campaign got off to a torrid start, and he was rewarded for his production with AL POTM honors in April. Sadly, his season has been riddled with injuries seemingly ever since (Grade Two right hip strain and broken left hand). The silver lining in all of this is that fans have been able to catch a small glimpse of how dynamic a healthy, locked-in Buxton could be on both sides of the ball for an entire season.

For the twenty-seven games that Buxton has played this season, he has been gaming a standout scarlet red and Ocean Mint-colored Rawlings Pro Preferred PROSJD0-6KR (stamped as a PROSJD-6KR) glove. Here are the specifications:

– Pro H (6) web

– Platinum logo patches (Buxton is only one of eleven players ever to earn the prestigious and rare air Rawlings Platinum Glove Award.)

– Black lining

– Metallic silver accents

– Indented stamping

– Buck Daddy on the thumb

You can get a similar glove to Buxton without the platinum logo patches and metallic silver welting, binding, and stitching on Rawlings’ Custom Pro Shop for $479.95.
