Carlos Correa
Carlos Correa is a front office’s dream and what most would envision as the perfect ballplayer. 6’4″/220, a cannon for an arm, a wizard with the glove, and pop in his bat. Its easy to see why he was the first overall pick in the 2012 MLB draft. Correa is a product of the remarkable Houston Astros farm system. It has grown to produce some of the best young talent the game has to offer. On top of being one of the best shortstops in the MLB, he has some of the best swag too.
While Correa was with Nike early in his career, he’s now riding the adidas wave for cleats and batting gloves. A Wilson A2000 glove has been a constant for him. Correa’s play has been so stellar, it warranted his own game model glove. As for bats, Correa has bounced around between Victus, Marucci, and Chandler bats. Like many at the Big League level, he trusts Evoshield to protect him with their elbow and shin guard.
