Today adidas released a new set of “8-Bit” colorways that will be available through the end of October at adidas.com for $130. Both the adiZero Afterburner 6 and the Icon V get the 8-bit treatment.
Along with the cleats, adidas released a Snapchat game to promote the release and purchase the cleats within Snapchat.
According to adidas, this is the first time that a retail product has been buyable within a Snapchat game. If you don’t have Snapchat you can still play the game here.
The 8-Bit styles have also “launched” in MLB The Show. We checked to see if Carlos Correa is wearing them in Game 3 of the ALDS, but he’s still rocking his standard grey/navy away Afterburner PEs.
