The latest is the 6th iteration, and the Afterburner 6’s most noticeable change is the laces. The laces basically span the width of the cleat, which, according to Trea Turner, was a nice improvement from the lace pressure that existed with the Afterburner 5.
Correa’s cleats have his signature on the heel. The aways, pictured are mostly grey with blue trim and a red-yellowish fade on the plate.
In my opinion, these are a step back from the V’s aesthetically, but with the lace structure, a performance improvement.
