Carlos Correa and adidas always have an eye on the next big moment, so you can bet that the creative minds of adidas baseball were salivating over the thought of Correa’s first World Series appearance.
For the momentous occasion, adidas commissioned Houston artist @captain_davey_jones for these 1 of 1 Boost Icon 3s.
We can expect to see a few more of these, because the artists will be churning out one custom per World Series game for Correa and Justin Turner! According to adidas:
“Embracing our open source strategy, adidas has partnered with local artists in each city, Chad Cantcolor in Los Angeles and David Maldonado in Houston, to narrate the story of the World Series on a custom cleat for each game of the World Series.”
