Going into 2025, the Houston Astros decided to take a risk and move Jose Altuve to the outfield. It seemed that the team needed help in the outfield, and a guy like Altuve can play anywhere, so they decided to transition him off of second base. Surely this took the future Hall of Famer time to adjust, but it didn’t take long for him to start making web gems. To make those plays, he is using a Wilson A2000 that is identical to the infield version he’s used for the past few seasons. The navy blue snakeskin and the orange laces just look so clean paired together. One of our favorite mitts in the game today.
