Matt Carpenter is best known for his crazy productive 11-year career with the St. Louis Cardinals. In 2021, his numbers fell off dramatically and he found himself on a new team in 2022. After signing and quickly being released by the Texas Rangers at the start of this season, Matt Carpenter signed a 1-year deal with the New York Yankees. Carp exceeded all expectations and made an immediate impact in New York. He is currently batting .325 with 15 dingers and is sporting a great mustache. He is doing all this with the help of his Marucci DW5 Maple bat.

Carp has been swinging the DW5 model for several years now. It is 33.5″/31.5 oz and has a black barrel with a gold colored handle. Marucci says that the balanced feel of this bat gives players faster bat speed and better control.

You can get the DW5 model on Marucci’s website using their bat customizer starting at $190. Check it out using the link below.
