Didi Gregorius went 8 for 10 with 10 RBI in the final two games of one of the most exciting regular season series in recent memory, Yankees @ Twins. Didi swung his standard, a Louisville Slugger M110 Maple bat, and starred as the Yanks clawed back from an early 8-2 deficit to defeat the Twins 14-12 in 10 innings.
In that game, Gregorius became the first shortstop in MLB history to reach base six times while driving in 7 or more.
Didi added a flashy play to preserve the lead in the bottom of the 10th with his Mizuno glove, just to add to the unbelievable excitement of this instant classic.
He polished off the Twins with a more reasonable 3-5 and 3 RBI in the rubber match to help the Yanks take the series.
