The premium line of Nike batting gloves, the Elite Pro, must not have what Mookie Betts looks for in a batting glove, because he is wearing the lower level “Edge.” The key difference between those two is that the Elite Pro is sheepskin (53% sheepskin leather/30% polyester/12% cotton/5% thermoplastic polyurethane), while the Edge is goatskin (53% polyester/45% goatskin leather/2% polyurethane). Sheepskin is soft, while goatskin may be a little rougher.
