Nike celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Negro Leagues with a lineup of KC Monarchs-inspired cleats. They’re being worn today by Nike athletes.
The red and white Kansas City Monarch jersey is arguably the most iconic in Negro League history, worn by Jackie Robinson, Satchel Paige, and Buck O’Neil to name a few.
The Monarchs-inspired footwear design includes the KC heart logo originally seen on the team’s 1942 championship jersey.
This colorway collection is comprised of the Nike Ultrafly 2, Nike Huarache 2 (Mid, Low, and Turf silhouettes) and Nike Trout 6.
