Oneil Cruz is the tallest shortstop in MLB history, standing at a whopping 6’7″. Since he is the same size as guys like Aaron Judge, it makes sense that he’d have a bigger glove than your average shortstop. We believe that Cruz’s glove is the Easton Professional Collection Hybrid, which is 12″ in length. This is unique because most shortstops typically use gloves that are 11.5″ or 11.75″ at the biggest.

It features an H-web, also rare for middle infielders, and black/red Japanese tanned Professional Reserved™ Steerhide leather on the shell and USA chrome tanned Horween™ Steerhide leather on the palm. To finish it off, he has his name and number embroidered on the thumb.

Cruz is truly one of a kind. His skills on the diamond are unmatched and his glove of choice at the shortstop position is uncommon. You won’t be able to get his exact colorway, but you can get your own Professional Collection Hybrid glove at Easton.Rawlings.com for $260. If you’re a shortstop, keep in mind that Cruz is a big guy who requires a bigger infield glove.
