Ozzie Albies swings the OZZ1 model bat made by Birdman Bats. This up and coming company out of California has seen their bats used by several notable big league players, including Kris Bryant, Yasiel Puig, Todd Frazier, and Hunter Pence. Their custom Hydro Drip bats have been used by some of the Savannah Bananas, the Coastal Plain League baseball team that went viral for their on-field antics.
Designed by Albies, this model features top shelf birch wood, a tapered handle, an extremely large barrel, and a balanced feel. He swings a 34.5″/32 oz. from the left side and a 34″/32 oz. from the right. Pictured here, he is using the OZZ1 with a black handle and natural color barrel. He has also been known to use the natural color handle/black barrel combo and the black handle/wine (red) barrel combo.
