Trea Turner’s infield glove is an 11.5″ Rawlings PRONP5. He’s mixed in others, but he’s back with old faithful in 2021. He used the REV1X in 2020, but Trea told us he “likes the shape and feel of the classic.”
We are used to seeing the PRONP5, a classic infield glove, as an I-Web. Trea Turner does what he wants and put a single post on it. Glove experts would tell you that a PRONP5 is supposed to be 11.75″, but Trea likes the PRONP5 model number, so that’s what Rawlings gives him. He may like it because many great players have worn that pattern (currently Adrian Beltre, Josh Donaldson). Manny Machado does the same exact thing.
Turner’s model has that worn-in Camel Chase Utley swag, and its available at Rawlings.com for $380.
