Russell Martin
Russell Martin is a veteran backstop that has bounced around a little in his career. Martin has played for four different teams in his career but found his way back to the Dodgers after being initially drafted by them in 2002. Martin has been an All Star four times along side with the 2007 Gold Glove and Silver Slugger.
Russell Martin’s glove is as classic as it comes. His Rawlings Pro Preferred PROSCM33KB2 is all black with camel laces-a timeless look. His other gear behind the plate is also Rawlings. He uses the Rawlings Yadi chest protector and the Rawlings XRD shin guards. Martin’s cleats may be his most unique piece of gear. Russell Martin has taken a variety of normal basketball shoes and converts them to baseball spikes. He has taken Kyrie and LeBron’s signature shoes and brought them to the diamond. At the plate Martin wraps his Chandler M17 maple bat in a Lizard Skin bat grip.
