Year 17 hadn’t even started yet and LeBron James was still bringing the highlights.
This play occurred in a preseason matchup with the Golden State Warriors. King James’ Los Angeles Lakers were already up big late in the 3rd quarter when Anthony Davis looked to start a fast break. The Brow immediately tossed a pass to LeBron off a defensive rebound. James then attacked the rim, barreling his way to the hoop. After going up for the double-teamed layup, James adjusted his shot in mid-air. The King then threw a wild pass over his head without looking at the recipient. Somehow someway, the pass landed perfectly in Danny Green’s hands. The Lakers guard then sunk the wide-open corner 3-pointer to the excitement of the Staples Center crowd.
The sneakers that James rocked for this highlight was the Nike LeBron 16 Low. This version is the same as the regular LeBron 16, except for the collar height and the upper. More traditional mesh replaces the BattleKnit upper. The LeBron 16 Low still retains the articulated Zoom Air bag cushioning that gives you extra bounce.
James rocked the Air Max Trainer 2 inspired colorway in Hyper Jade turquoise for this moment, which you can find HERE.
You can find the Nike LeBron 16 at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
