Bryce Harper’s Harper 7 signature cleats showed up somewhat stealthily in August, as Harper came back from a fractured thumb while the Phillies were still heavy underdogs.

While the launch was quiet (@uabaseball no longer exists), Bryce has gotten himself and the new kicks some earned October press as he rampaged through St. Louis, Atlanta and San Diego, to the NL pennant.  There are few players with true original style in MLB, and Bryce definitely leads the way in the Harper 7.

Harper’s seventh signature cleat, with its metal front, plastic back hybrid plate, builds off a long line of clean yet standout silhouettes that I’ve enjoyed from the very first in 2016.  I particularly like this one for its nod to the Jordan 12 with the toe swoop.  He’s worn the loudest colors in his repertoire during this incredible postseason tear, including Phillie Phanatic green, red, and white/off-white.  Its cool to have details, which these have, but it means more when the cleats stand out, even from the top deck or the television.

Get the Harper 7 at Dick’s for $45-$140 depending on trim level.  It looks like they added some new colorways which must be considered for impulse purchase.  More info on the Harper 7 cleats here.
