Franklin doesn’t get enough credit for the style they bring to the game.  They’ve been the league standard since their founder, Irving Franklin, invented the modern batting glove with Mike Schmidt in 1983.

The gloves’ functional elements are largely unchanged from the original, and are known as the most durable gloves in baseball.  Stylistically, though, the small changes that they do make always seem to work.  This new little gold accent on Evan Longoria’s CFX Pros is a great example of this.

The gold look is pro only at this point, but Franklin has added CHROME to their custom builder, and we’ve built a Longoria-inspired version of these batting gloves at the link.
