For his latest 2019s, Gley asked Nike to implement some of Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality” into his PEs, so Nike’s Ocea Nigito took the materials from the Kobe 9 Elite EXT “Snakeskin” and used that as the basis for Gleyber’s new cleat.
The result is a blue snakeskin with a midsole speckle at home / grey on the road that gives a subtle, classy swag that fits Gleyber perfectly. The home pair mixes in some white where the road pair features that uniform light blue.
