Okay, how cool is this? Apparently Ian Desmond recently took a cultural education course with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, who is based near the Rockies’ spring training complex is Salt River, Arizona. Afterward he wanted to pay tribute to what he learned, so he decided to take his glove to a member of the tribe, who designed it using a burning tool. This custom job is not avaiable, but you can buy Ian’s glove at the link!
