With all extensive and high quality options Mizuno has to offer, a lot of us at WPW were scratching our heads when Ian ran out to the outfield with a $100 glove that can be bought in his exact blue and red colors right off Eastbay. Desmond went with the lower grade leather because of how quickly it breaks in, which was needed since he learned outfield on the fly with Texas. If Colorado sends him to the outfield during the course of his time there, it would not surprise me at all if he uses the same model glove but in Rockies colors, since it would be a quick break-in.
With that being said, I really love this glove. Breaks in easily, is very affordable, comes in cool colors, and has a single post web, similar to Evan Longoria’s Wilson infield glove. This glove is truly unique.
