ProHitter has dominated the batting thumb guard market in recent years. Now, there is some competition. ThumbPRO has released its own guard that has a slightly different design than the traditional ProHitter. It offers a curved surface that extends further down the palm to maximize protection and stability while swinging the bat. We haven’t seen many players using this product yet, but among the few is Marlins’ second baseman, Jazz Chisholm. He has been a pioneer for new gear in the MLB, so we aren’t surprised that he is one of the first to use ThumbPRO.
You can get the guard in a bunch of different colors on ThumbPRO’s website for $25.
