To me, its the no-batting-gloves-with-the-glove-side-wristband combo where Carpenter derives his swagger from. Why does he wear it on the glove-side only? Maybe to keep his throwing hand dry in the field. Why does he only tape up his left wrist, just underneath the wristband? Hard to even speculate on that. I wish we could ask him. The bottom line, though, is that it looks bad-ass. And isn’t that why you’re here?
