Mike Trout has used a similar glove in the past, but this one has a few slight differences. His new PROMT27 is modeled after the PRO601 that we saw him use in 2020. The biggest difference is that his PRO601 utilized a half camo half leather shell back with ivory stitching, whereas his new PROMT27 has an all black leather shell back, camo mesh trim, and red stitching. The personalization of the glove is also a bit different, with Trout switching the embroidering of his name to a signature instead of print lettering.
Most of the major specs have remained the same. They are both 12.75″, have trapeze webbing, an index finger pad, and pro preferred leather. The camo trim on the 3-time MVP’s new glove is not offered on Rawlings’ custom builder, but you can get the exact PROMT27 pictured above for $500, minus the camo trim.
