Top 5 Victus Custom Bats for Players’ Weekend | Mookie Betts “Jordan 9” Bat, Gary Sanchez “Kraken Returns”

The custom cleats can get a little nauseating after a while.  Yeah I said it.  Its just a little stale for me.  The jersey designs flatlined this year.  Nothing to see there.  The bats, though, especially the Victus bats, now that’s starting to become the best part of Players’ Weekend.  Here’s just a sample of the beautiful Victus paint jobs for Players Weekend, and we pick our 5 favorites.  Which is yours?

Bronxville, New York born Harrison Bader’s Victus bat has a map of the Manhattan area on his barrel…

…and the Statue of Liberty on the opposite face.

You can probably guess who’s bat this is…

Its Pablo “Panda” Sandoval’s D200L.  The D200 is the same cut that Buster Posey swung for many years when he was a Slugger guy.

Teammate Evan Longoria’s Victus BS23 has “duckies” all over it, possibly an ode to his restaurant in Tampa, Ducky’s.

David Peralta has his bat labeled for “Freight Train” and splashed with his homeland Venezuelan colors.

This one is creative, too, with Victus’ artists making the bat look like a ripe piña.

Josh Bell has the Pittsburgh map on his Victus CU26 bat.

The other side of Bell’s bat is kinda frightening.

Dan Vogelbach has gotten the nickname “The Babe” for obvious reasons and got a nice fish scale treatment on his Victus AR1.

Vogelbach’s teammates Ryon Healy, JP Crawford, and Mitch Haniger went with a different look.

Teammate Mookie Betts actually turned his bat into Jordan 9s!

The pride of German baseball, Max Kepler is repping his home with his Victus GS14.

Even the knob decal has got the German colors.

Notre Dame alumni Cavan Biggio and AJ Pollock are throwing it back to their college days.

Tim Anderson, as we know, likes to “RIP IT” and “FLIP IT.”

And for our top 5:

#5 | Christian Vazquez

Christian Vazquez matched his cleats with his bat with a Spiderman theme.

#4 | Christian Walker

Rookie slugger Christian Walker’s Victus LSi13 reflects Arizona culture with a Navajo pattern in DBacks teal.

#3 | Gary Sanchez

Gary Sanchez’ Kraken bat from a few years ago was absolutely one of the coolest bats ever made, and Victus has created a gorgeous follow-up to that bat this year.

The Kraken elements are a little more subtle, but no less amazing.

#2 | Alex Verdugo

Look at that absolute beauty!  Alex Verdugo of the Dodgers has Mexican heritage and celebrates that heritage with this beautiful “calavera,” or skull, with his model info underneath.

#1 | Yuli Lourdes Gurriel

This one might be the best of the bunch, a piña-inspired YG9 for Yuli Lourdes Gurriel, “piña Jr.”

A few more because Victus did such an excellent job:
