Trevor Story has been using Old Hickory bats for several years now. Specifically, it looks like he has stuck with the ML1 model made of maple wood. Pictured above, he is swinging a 33.75″ with a matte black handle, a cherry stain-colored barrel, and gold logos. He also chose to have his name engraved under the length and model number.
This unique bat was created by taking a barrel and handle from two different models and combining them into one. The feel of this bat seems to live up to Story’s standards since he has been swinging it for a few years now.
In the past, Old Hickory did not have the ML1 available for purchase. In fact, Story was the only player in baseball with this model. Now, anyone can get it on their website under the Custom Pro section. They do not have any stock options available, so you’ll have to customize it. Check out a similar version of Trevor Story’s ML1 that we created using their bat customizer or design one yourself for $135-$195.
