Mark Teixeira
Mark Teixeira was a prolific switch hitter at the big league level for 14 years. While injuries hampered his career, Tex still finished with a .268 average, 409 bombs, and 1,298 RBIs. He also has the record for most games with a homer from both sides of the plate with 14. All of this propelled him to three All Star games, five Gold Gloves, three Silver Sluggers, and a 2009 season where he led the AL in home runs and RBIs en route to a World Series ring.
Mark Teixeira was never the flashy type. A Marucci MT25 maple bat, Nike Vapor Elite Pro batting gloves, and a Bike leg guard accompanied him to the plate. Mark Teixeira’s glove was just as simple. He chose to use an all camel Rawlings Pro Preferred PROFM20XLK with the iconic gold labels. He paired this with Nike Air Huarache spikes and Nike Show-x1 sunglasses to complete the look.
