Bryce Harper is swinging a Victus bat in 2016, and swinging it well. Harper’s got Victus’ new ProPACT finish, which “alleviates the natural break-in process and hardens the wood by compressing it substantially,” creating “a dent resistant rock hard product.” His Opening Day HR came off the 34 inch, 32 oz BH137.1, similar to Victus’ V243, which is available for customization at the link below. Bryce also has a 34, 31.5 oz, and he’s been known to switch between weights depending on how he’s feeling that day and that very moment.
The model number is likely an allusion to the Bible verse Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Bryce has had that number on his bats since his rookie year.
